① Talent Acquisition includes many processes like recruitment, employee segmentation, applicant relationship management, job branding, and metrics and analysis. Recruitment is a part of the Talent Acquisition, not a synonym for Talent Acquisition.
② Recruitment is a linear process that drives towards a single direction. Which are organizations filling their vacancies when they opened. But Talent Acquisition is an ongoing process that has many phases and takes more time.
③ Talent acquisition focuses on assessing potential business requirements when recruiting the candidate, recruitment focuses on short-term objectives and is a tactical solution to manage immediate hiring needs.
④ Final major distinction between recruitment and talent acquisition is that, while the recruitment process can be carried out with the assistance of one or two recruiters and without the need of a recruitment tracking system, the talent acquisition process necessitates an entire team of acquisition professionals as well as sophisticated applicant management applications.

The main difference between recruiting and talent acquisition is between short-term and long-term strategy. The process of finding and engaging employees with certain experiences and perspectives is known as talent acquisition. It's also more strategic. It plans for a wide range of current and future business needs and is flexible enough to adapt to change when those needs change, whereas recruiting is there when vacant roles need to be filled immediately. There is a specific short-term goal.
