According to English & Baker (2006) talent acquisition is an important process which highly adopted by the organization which totally depends on the success and failure of the firm. Talent acquisition also is known as the most important human resource activity, jobs, and people must be matched correctly to ensure employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.

Talent acquisition is the process of identifying and squaring skilled workers to meet organizational needs. The Talent Acquisition team of the organization is responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring candidates to fill the open positions in the organization. In some companies there is no separate talent acquisition team, it’s a part of HR department.

 Forecast effectively

We need to identify the job positions that are critical and difficult to fill in short notice. Especially, senior management positions, high technical, high-specific experience, and engineering positions are the position that may need at least six months to fill. So, we need to predict and forecast them earlier.

② Build a high-quality pipeline 

Keep track of the candidates you find, whether in a simple spreadsheet at a smaller company or organized via specialized software or platform.

③ Get Everyone on Board (Work Collaboratively)

Without limiting the talent acquisition to HR and TA team and keep an open mind about where quality candidates can come from. Get the department or even the entire company involved in the process.

④ Spend the Time (Do not rush the process)

Productive talent acquisition requires enough time. Do not rush the interview process, carefully identify the right candidates, and do the interview or assessment process carefully.
